The “black label” 2021 Colli di Luni Vermentino Etichetta Nera offers more sophistication and depth compared to its “gray label” cousin. This wine is chiseled and direct with bright and lively fruit.
“This white is intense, from the chamomile flower, lemon balm and sage aromas to the passion fruit and mineral flavors. Finishes long, with the richness and fruit offsetting the vibrant acidity. Drink now through 2025.” Wine Spectator 92 Points
This estate is located in the Colli di Luni area of La Spezia and farms 85 hectares of vines. A newly enlarged and refurbished winery project has just been completed, and Cantine Lunae Bosoni has plans for new vineyard acquisitions and the creation of new wine labels.
Colli di Luni is a DOC title for red and white wines from the coastal hills around Massa and La Spezia, northwestern Italy. The appellation represents the transition between Liguria and Tuscany – in terms of geography, the grape varieties, and the wine styles.
