Nestled to the southwest of the village, this monopole is the smallest in Burgundy. It extends over 0.61 ha and is admirably located: it borders Les Ruchottes and overlooks Les Mazis. Each of its terraces brings a distinct nuance: the upper terrace offers richness and power to the wine, while the lower one envelops it with floral, light and mineral notes. At the heart of this enclosure rises a villa, a small “folly” with its typically Burgundian roof that we were keen to restore in 2017. It is today the studio of the artist Laëtitia de Bazelaire.
Tasting Notes:
On the nose, aromas of ripe fruit and woody, liquorice notes dominate. On the palate, the tannins are voluminous and silky. An elegant and well-balanced wine.
