“Dönnhoff’s hand-riddled 2014 Pinot Brut, disgorged after 50 months on the secondary yeast, offers a clear, fresh and subtle bouquet of ripe apples intertwined with stony notes. Wonderfully open and not that reductive, as so many sparkling wines are. On the palate, this is a bone-dry, firm and fresh, very pure and linear Sekt with remarkable finesse and delicate salinity on the firm and “naked” finish with sur lie and refreshing lemon juice aromas. This is a terribly pure but very food-friendly sparkling wine with 12% alcohol. Drink with freshwater fish! Of this first lot (L 1401), 1,387 bottles were disgorged in August 2019. The stock is constantly changing. It's not completely managed by us, as we're involved with several organizations, such as the factory and the storage. So the actual stock may alter at any time. Please be aware it's possible your order could run out of stocks once you've placed your order.
