Tokaji is a highly prized Hungarian dessert wine, often considered one of the most historically important and sought after dessert wines in the world – rated by the number of “Puttonyos” (buckets) of noble-rot grapes having been added into the batch; each successive bucket adding additional sweetness. Ranging from 1-6. These casks came from wines rated at 5-6 Puttonyos. This wine, while sweet, is unlike many other dessert wines in that it retains significant acidity in its flavor and as such has significant bright and fresh fruit characteristics.
“The Judge” has been bottled at 52% ABV (104 Proof), No Additives, and Non-Chill Filtered (some cloudiness may occur).
