“Our Càirdeas expression for 2023 brings together the best of much loved Càirdeas releases over recent years. The limited-edition single malt is a combination of Madeira and White Port casks. Three quarters of the whisky is matured in second-fill Madeira casks, releasing smoky, spicy, and sweet fruit flavours. The final quarter has been finished in first-fill Port casks; the majority of these are white port, adding a hint of crisp fruit and deep woodiness to the flavour. It’s a new take on Laphroaig that plays to our strengths – welcoming friends old and new.”

On Islay there is a saying; We don’t make friends easily but the ones we do are for life. Launched in 1994, Friends of Laphroaig are fans, friends and followers of our distillery from all over the world. Never short of an opinion or two they help Laphroaig explore new expressions, attend tastings and sometimes even visit the distillery at Laphroaig’s home on Islay. To reward the loyalty of its following, each year we launch exclusive bottlings within the Càirdeas series.
Càirdeas means ‘friendship’ in Gaelic and, each year, a limited-edition bottling is crafted by distillery manager and fifth generation Islay native, John Campbell, available exclusively to Friends of Laphroaig.“

Returns
The stock is constantly changing. It's not completely managed by us, as we're involved with several organizations, such as the factory and the storage. So the actual stock may alter at any time. Please be aware it's possible your order could run out of stocks once you've placed your order.
The policy is 30 days. If 30 days have gone without a trace since the purchase, unfortunately we can't offer an exchange or refund.
The item should not be in use and must be in the original packaging. The item should be returned in its original packaging.
