This brandy was distilled from the excellent 1999 vintage and aged for 22 years in 100% neutral French oak. The grapes come from one of Eola Amity Hill’s oldest organic vineyards – Cattrall Vineyard. Planted in 1978 and certified organic since 1990, this exceptional fruit source not only makes high caliber fine wines, but wonderful brandy. Pale mahogany in the glass with a beguiling nose including rich aromas of toffee, cacao, and orange peel. The palate possesses tremendous concentration, rancio, with complex flavors of madeira-soaked cake, black mission figs, and cigar box.
