“This chile pepper-flavored whiskey launched in August 2015. Made with jalapeños grown on site at Rogue Farms, allowed to ripen until bright red, the peppers are smoked and brewed into a “chipotle whiskey wash.” More chipotles are added during distillation, and again during barrel aging. The end result is an apple-y sweet, vanilla aroma and palate followed by a gentle chile simmer and light smokiness. The heat builds with repeated sips, but chileheads probably wouldn’t have it any other way.” Wine Enthusiast 90 Points
