This is the elixir of Alsace, straight to your glass! Riesling is grown throughout the region on very different soils, producing very different wines from place to place. Rieslings can be very complex, and this is no exception.
Appearance: Pale golden
Nose: Subtle grapefruit, pear and lime.
Mouth: Full mouth. A barely detectable touch of sweetness lightens the wine. Flavors of pear, quince and ripe orange.
In third year of conversion to Organic. 60 year-old vineyards on clay and limestone soils on the hills surrounding Blienschwiller. Yield: 55 hL/ha.

This wine is perfect for snowy winter holidays and the big meals that go along with them Try it with the traditional pork, sauerkraut or blue cheese.

Hand-picked. Light press. Fermented in a 2000 gallon oak foudre.
