Made from 100% Baco
One of our favorite Negociants in the Armagnac world is Francis Darroze. His specialty is buying brandy from small producers scattered around Gascony, and finishing the brandy is his cellars. They are all bottled at cask strength, and bottled as vineyard designated, vintage-dated Armagnacs. Each one is a masterpiece.
The older Armagnacs are constructed from 100% Bacco, a grape known more for its bass, producing a full-bodied and “fat” Armagnac. The Bacco of Gascony is slowly being phased out—“hybrid” grapes like Bacco soon will no longer be allowed in the AOC region.
Tasting Notes from the Producer
Beautiful brown color, golden tints. The nose is pungent, with fine aromas of dried fruits (hazelnut, almond), spices (nutmeg, licorice) and candied fruit (apricot, orange peel). In the mouth, the attack is clear, the tannins are enveloping. Beautiful aromatic complexity (spices, honey, mint). Long in the mouth.

Returns
The stock is constantly changing. It's not completely managed by us, as we're involved with several organizations, such as the factory and the storage. So the actual stock may alter at any time. Please be aware it's possible your order could run out of stocks once you've placed your order.
The policy is 30 days. If 30 days have gone without a trace since the purchase, unfortunately we can't offer an exchange or refund.
The item should not be in use and must be in the original packaging. The item should be returned in its original packaging.
